Very good traditional Bavarian food to very fair prices (this is the brewery of one of the best beers in town)

Munich's largest brewery, Augustiner (and not Löwenbräu as many think). Beer served straight from a wooden barrel. Great Bavarian food. Horses for the Oktoberfest stay in stables by the toilets.
