This is an absolute must-see if you are traveling to South Lake Tahoe (even for a day). It is the perfect thing to do if you have a few hours to look around. You can stop at many miradors and see the most scenic views that Tahoe has to offer.

The 1 mile hike from the parking area is worth it! See Vikingsholm Castle and enjoy the serenity of Emerald Bay. Tip: Bring water for the walk back up to the parking lot.
