Sightseeing

Less well known but I think a better view of SF than Twin Peaks. When clear you have a 280˚ view west to the ocean, north to Marin and the Golden Gate Bridge and east to down town

While in Marin Point Reyes Station is a great town to stop after hiking or wandering for food and gifts. Beautiful drive to get to and area to check out.

Parks & Nature

Marin headlands, check maps, has so much area to hike, go to beach or redwoods. The further west you go the less people you run into. On weekends try to get an early start. Say latest 9:30 because the traffic getting out the city across the Golden Gate bridge can be very frustrating.
