The Anchor is a bar, music venue, and restaurant. They have the best burgers and nachos, and serve food until 1am, so it's one of the only places you can eat late-night. They have the best beer-list in town. The restaurant tables are separated from the stage, so you can actually hear your friends if you go to eat while a band is playing.

Primarily a traditional bar, but they also serve some really delicious Czech-style food. Excellent sausage and potato dishes, and huge portions. I recommend going for a late lunch or early evening to eat before the bar gets too busy.

Amazing tacos (last time I had a fried sriracha-cauliflower and a bacon and brussels sprouts tacos, YUM). They have a great beer selection. Service is friendly but SLOW. Well worth the wait in my opinion, but not somewhere you want to go if you're on a schedule.

An excellent Bistro, they are also a great brunch spot on the weekends. Really delicious food, fresh, simple and perfect.

Breakfast and lunch place in a beautiful building, with a slightly 50’s inspired atmosphere. Classic dishes made with fresh ingredients, excellent food, large pastry selection, and decent coffee. Great place to stop in for a quick lunch or afternoon tea and cake.

They have smoothies, fresh juices, kombucha, amazing egg dishes and sandwiches. They also have a really vegan and gluten-free friendly menu, and they serve beer and mimosas.

They have great coffee, really great food, vegan options for breakfast and lunch, and a relaxed and casual atmosphere packed with walls full of antiques. You will find yourself wandering away from your table to look at some interesting thing, it’s hard to leave!

They have great coffee, really great food, vegan options for breakfast and lunch, and a relaxed and casual atmosphere packed with walls full of antiques. You will find yourself wandering away from your table to look at some interesting thing, it’s hard to leave!
Sushi and Hibachi place, they do take-out and delivery, and have those big hibachi tables where the chef does tricks while they cook your food. Pretty standard for sushi; not the best I've ever had, but always tasty and fresh.

A great place to have a few drinks on a summer evening since they have a huge patio right on the water, however, their food is really bad. I do not recommend eating there!

Yummy but pricey (for kingston) bistro/steak house. They do have a pretty nice monday night special every week, a burger and 3 beers for $25, and Wednesday nights they have 1/2 price wine. Their food is great, but tends to be pretty heavy (lobster mac-and cheese? yes, please!) and not many vegetarian options.

The owner LOVES dogs and will bring over a bowl of water and (if it's not too busy) some unseasoned grilled chicken for your pooch.

Great mexican restaurant with yummy tacos and excellent Margaritas, right near the water on Broadway. I like to go to their taco tuesdays, with $2 tacos, you can have a dinner for 2 with drinks for $20!

Southern-style restaurant. Their food is good and they are in a really cool huge old factory building right on the creek. They serve lunch and dinner and buffet brunch on Sundays. I like to go for a late lunch on a sunny day, sit on the deck and have a few drinks with friends and sample some of their yummy appetisers.

The Owners are super friendly and exceedingly knowledgeable about all their wines, and will tell you anything you want to know about them. Really great place to start your night.
