My favorite item on the menu is the Arroz Colombiana, but every single thing I have tried there is magnificent. Budget friendly. Good for small groups or friend-dates. Aguas frescas are magnificent. Very friendly staff as well.

Nice cozy independently owned coffee shop with excellent cappuccino. Friendly staff. They are not a quick serve venue like Starbucks or Dutch Bros., but they are my favorite local coffee shop.

Oakland A's spring training stadium is really close by - less than 2 miles. It is a bike-able distance and there are GRID bike share rental bikes available at an intersection very near our house (8th St. and Mesa Dr. )
