THE BEST PUB IN HIGHGATE! Our favourite local, we're here every Friday with a pint of some craft ale we've never had before. Good prices (London-relative) for local beer. The amazing popup kitchens (new one every month) never disappoint us. Average customer is probably in their 30s - not an old man pub. Good music and cool vibe. Packed on Friday and Saturday evenings. Avoid football nights.

The closest place for a pint..... across the street. Good if you can't be bothered to walk up the hill. Small place, kind of an old man pub. Weirdly they do swing dancing nights pretty often and have these late (22:00-1:00?) music events that are totally full.

Nothing else like it in London!!! Head to Parliament Hill for long grass and great views. Very romantic with a picnic. The back side of the hill (not looking over the skyline) is extremely underrated and my favourite, with a view of Highgate hill, a few church steeples, and the swimming ponds.

Beautiful disused rail line from the 1860s turned walking trail. There are bat tunnels at the very start of it (hidden away, to the left). Popular for dog walking and runners - just locals though, very undiscovered. Foraging hotspot - pick blackberries in the summer. Absolutely peaceful and really lovely.
It's literally across the street, behind the Boogaloo. Walk down the hill past the Boogaloo's back beer garden thing, then you'll find the open gate bollards on the lefthand side.
