These are my favorite restaurants in Lake Placid! Luckily three of my favorites are in walking distance from the Gallery Apartment. Great View guests will unfortunately have to drive to all of these recommendations since you will be in a more isolated spot. :)
It is a short walk from the Gallery apartment (maybe 2 minutes) and is a local favorite! It is down the hill about 1 mile from Great View Apartment (should drive) It is fairly priced and in the summer you can site outside. They have great cocktails and also a great atmosphere.

6115 Sentinel RdIt is very close walking distance from the Gallery Apartment (about a 2 min walk). It is about a mile (drive) from Great View Apartment. It has great eclectic food. It's mostly tapas, and is a little pricey, but worth it! I wouldn't recommend bringing children here.
Another short walk from the Gallery Apartment (about 5 mins). About a mile and a half (drive) from Great View Apartment. This restaurant is pricy, but worth it! Small and cozy on the inside.

Award winning local brewery (also the Lake Placid Pub and Brewery near Mirror Lake). Great food, great atmosphere and of course great beer!
