Great modern German gastro-pub overlooking an apple orchard. Nice outdoor seating, with indoor seating reminiscent of a modern ski lodge. Love this place. A little hard to find but worth it!

Dogwood is definitely the most local bar to our house, and definitely is our go to if we aren't at Quinn's. They serve food and live music. It is also WALKABLE from my house. All good things. Say hi to George

I hike this trail weekly. Best part of living where we are. You can step out my front door and start your hike up the mountain! Just head up Wolcott Avenue and once you reach the top, you will see a sign for the Mt. Beacon park and the start of the hiking trail. You don't have to go all the way to the fire tower; you can have a beautiful view once you reach the summit. But if you hike another 20 minutes or so, you have even a better view and sometimes can see Manhattan's skyline. So close, yet so far
