A little hidden gem, only a 5 minutes walk along the boardwalk. It is hidden away on an upper balcony at Shingley Beach Resort. Gourmet pastries and cakes and great coffee. Great spot for catching cooling breezes with a view of Abel Point Marina.

115 Shingley DrA little hidden gem, only a 5 minutes walk along the boardwalk. It is hidden away on an upper balcony at Shingley Beach Resort. Gourmet pastries and cakes and great coffee. Great spot for catching cooling breezes with a view of Abel Point Marina.
Organic & Vegan fare. Home cooked. Fantastic for breakfast but I find it gets a little warm in summertime for lunch.

It's so close! A pleasant 5-10 minutes stroll along the Cannonvale Esplanade will take you to this quirky little cafe. It is extremely popular and has excellent views over Cannonvale Beach and the Coral Sea. It does get quite warm early during summer mornings, so I prefer to go mid morning or lunch time.

Laid back beach just a short walk from Villa Nautica. In summertime, the council puts up a stinger net for safe swimming. It is quite tidal so make sure you pick high tides for swimming. Great kiddies playground and BBQ facilities too.

If you have a car, it's well worth driving out to Conway National Park at Brandy Creek. There are several great rainforest walks - from 1 hour circuits to 2/3 day hikes. Take your pick! Check the national parks website for details.

A visit to the Whitsundays would not be complete without a trip to this iconic beach! There are many tour companies that will take you out to this spot along with other locations. One of our favourite is Ocean Rafting.
