Parks & Nature

There are a series of trails that wind along the Winooski River. If you are standing at the circle facing the river: turn left and follow the boardwalk past Waterworks for some trails that lead to a man-made gorge. Great for Snowshoeing or XCountry skiing in the winter. turn right and follow the sidewalks to the spectacular views of the Winooski One Hydroelectric Dam and the falls. cross the bridge and veer right for some trails that lead to the Salmon Hole on the Winooski River.
