LOVE Nellie. Great for breakfast (Sunday bunch only), lunch, or dinner. Sit inside or outside on the deck facing the water. They have a great bar and the food is to die for. Open year round. Love their lobster eggs benedict.

We like this place because it has a playground adjacent to the deck where the parents can sit and eat while the kids have fun. Food is good.

Sit outside and admire the most scenic water views. Food is only ok but the view makes up for it. CASH ONLY! Also a great place to go to have a drink before dinner. We love this place for breakfast. It’s actually called Lena’s for breakfast. Lena’s used to be in Westville (New Haven) and moved to Branford. Their banana bread and corn beef hash (with hollandaise) is to die for.

The chef was at Tre Scalini in New Haven for like 20 years. The menu is different because it’s both Italian meals or Mexican . We enjoyed everything we had! They serve breakfast lunch and dinner but breakfast is just ok (and not a great view). So go for dinner.
