This is a beautiful look and down the bottom is a gorgeous walkway that hugs the coastline and leads you to rainbow bay beach. It's stunning.

Great to swim & surf. There is also something here called the "key hole" which is a rock area that's great to swim in during low tide and just around the corner is Froggies a small beach that's magic!

Only 5 min drive away or 20min bike ride Currumbin. Many visitors have been and LOVE it. In my opinion the best in the Gold Coast. Also check www.groupon.com.au for cheap tickets :

Drive to the end of Pacific Parade where you will find a beautiful beach to swim. Actually the whole beach is beautiful but this area is a little more sheltered and water is calm. Good for surfing.

A funky cafe with an art gallery. Its right on the top of the hill so if you sit upstairs you can also enjoy a great view. Casual relaxed and great meals we really enjoy eating or going for a coffee.

We love the burgers from here. More gourmet and super tasty. A little more expensive but absolutely worth it especially when you have their chunky fries. Yum!

The location is stunning & its great to have a drink or meal & enjoy the view. It's a real local hangout and not visited by tourists & one of the many places that do not make the guidebooks. 10/10

Absolutely delicious burgers that are made on premisis with home made sauces. They have yummy chips too and cool atmosphere close to the beach. Love it!

Aldi is one of 3 major super markets in the area. It doesn't have everything but what it does have it really cheap and generally very good quality. There is Coles and Woolies around the corner too.

$10 Paddle Boarding - unfortunately the map is not in the right spot but drive as far as you can on Duringan St & you'll find paddle board hire on the river. Its great fun and really picturesque.
