Unfortunately Saratoga doesn't have amazing sushi (when you compare it to NYC) but it is by no means bad. One of our favorite long time sushi spots in town in Sushi Thai Garden. Both the sushi and Thai food are great with lots of options.
Although their niggiris are nothing to rave about, all of their special rolls are very good! These are some of their hidden gems off the menu:
North Pole Roll, Sushi Pizza, Rosie Bay and Fall view Roll

This is our favorite italian spot in town. Unfortunately it is very small and it can be tough to get a reservation but if you do make it, I highly recommend their Veal Danny!

This is an awesome little bakery shop with great desserts and a small casual menu of sandwiches and soups. It's our favorite tomato soup in town :). Also we highly recommend any of their croque sandwiches or any of their tarts.

This is a great spot for coffee and bagels but it gets really busy so be ready to wait in line for 10-15 minutes.

Sightseeing
Lake George is consistently rated as one of the top 3 most beautiful lakes in the country and it is only 25 minutes from Saratoga so if you haven't been to it, it may be worth the short ride!

This is an interesting tourist attraction where you can visit some amazing caves. In addition to the caves they also have a few other family attractions as part of their facilities where kids can climb ropes and do other similar things.

Parks & Nature
Considered as one of the turning points in the independence war it is a great piece of history just outside of town. There is a great 10 mile loop with limited access to cars that doubles as a great biking path.

The state park has lots of great areas to enjoy for a walk or a jog. You can also ride your bike and even play Golf in one of their 2 beautiful golf courses. You can find tennis courts, picnic areas and 2 different swimming pools as well.
