Good coffee. Selection of sandwiches-- I find them a bit pricey for sammy's, but they're good. Nice chill atmosphere. They sometimes have music or arts events in an intimate setting upstairs.

It burnt down, but they are doing take out while they rebuild. I prefer the take out anyway because the portions are larger. One of my fave Indian restaurants. Can be pricey, but take out is affordable.

I haven't tried it yet but my husband and daughter rave about it. And he's from Vancouver where great sushi is everywhere. The owners of ASA hail from Vancouver.

This is a MUST if you like ice cream. They started out as a corner store, but then started making their own ice cream and haven't looked back since. Gotta love the cow themed building too!

Most of their dishes are medium quality fare with the exception of the nachos. Get the ULTIMATE LAYERED NACHOS. Best I have had anywhere in my travels. Chicken, Bean, Barbacoa beef, guacamole, salsa, olives, jalapeños, mushrooms. This is a meal for two. We actually took leftovers home last time. Make sure you ask for "Layered"

Book ahead. This is located in Quidi Vidi, so just a short drive. This is definitely worth a visit. Fantastic inventive dishes at an affordable price. Great brunch.

This is just a little father down Merrymeeting Road. One of our long standing independent grocers. They have better basic produce than Sobfeys, but have a small selection. I go there for the broccoli and check out the deal of chicken and meats.
