Family fun all around! Even if you don't golf this is such a fun place to take the family. They offer all kinds of lawn games and the kids have a ton of lawn and space to run around while the adults relax and unwind. Live music, kids activities and lots of fun! Highly recommend! If you're eating here, I would just stick with the pizza which is very yummy.

This is one of our FAVORITES when our kids come with our grand baby! It would be fun even without kids - it's easy to spend hours here just having some old fashioned fun and hanging out with all the animals. I love the aviary where you can buy birds on popsicle sticks and the birds will land on the stick. They also have 2 sloths!! Such a fun place!

It's a Beautiful drive back to the lighthouse that's located on one of the most beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. There is a paved area across the dune to make the walk a little easier. It's one of my favorite spots in the world. You can climb to the top of the lighthouse Tues-Sun 10 am - 5 pm for a small fee.

The photo doesn't show it, but this is the closest public beach on Silver Lake. It has a fabulous kids playground area and is a great place to take an exercise walk. Great facilities and also has a parking lot for launching your boat.

Beautiful beach on the shoreline of Lake Michigan about 12 minutes from the cottage. A little less crowded than the big parks. Pack light - you will need to descend a lot of steps to get down to the beach, but it is worth it, especially at sunset!
