We have been visiting there for the past 18 years, and we've yet to have a bad tasting meal. Not terribly atmospheric, but the food is simply gorgeous, if you like tasty, spicy food.

Tucked away on the outskirts of Canterbury, you will find this little gem. Gorgeous cakes and quaint little craft-type stalls, I love to take time to meet friends here.

I just love the idea of walking out to the cafe, above the sea, with beautiful view along the beach and out to sea. They serve great breakfasts, all enjoyed with large glass windows, to enjoy the view.

Sandwich is a little gem! There are several quaint shops and coffe shops and cafes. For a trip down memory lane, why not check out the cinema? It's gorgeous.

Whitstable is renown for its seafood. A very sweet and interesting town, you can enjoy several hours strolling through the town and along the front.

Best views across Dover harbour, and usually a warm service. Food can be occasionally hit and miss, but views make up for this! Can also just have a drink or cream tea on the balcony - simply beautiful!

Wonderful fresh produce, and butchery, with the most wonderful rustic breakfasts. Get there early, as it gets busy!

I've been there several times, but my breath is still taken away as I walk through the arch and into the grounds. It's just beautiful, and full of history.

This is not just an historic buidling, you are free to use the beautiful gardens to picnic and explore. I've spent many happy hours meeting other families here for a fun time out.

This is a much loved and extremely popular Dover landmark. Don't miss exploring here. It can get very busy during peak periods, so plan well. Something for every age here, and you can explore the wartime tunnels.

Entertainment & Activities
A fantastic escape room, taking place in the actual original Canterbury police station, within the ancient Westgate tower. We have done several but this is our favourite!
I can also recommend the other Canterbury rooms, and both the rooms in Margate!
Recently upgraded, you will enjoy a lovely day out, with large play areas, including I believe, a new indoor play area. You even get to touch some of the animals. My sone always loved visiting there....mum did too!
