Austin T. Blakeslee Natural Area (Highland Trail) is a 2.2 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Blakeslee, Pennsylvania that features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

Boulder field is an amazing place to go, it is so unusual to see such a sight in front of you with a field full of boulders in the middle of the forest, and it goes on and on. The story of how it got there is great.

Brady's Lake is a 3.7 mile loop trail located near Coolbaugh Twp, Pennsylvania and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and mountain biking and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.

The Thomas Darling Preserve evokes the area’s glacial past. That includes boreal wetlands with native black spruce, balsam fir and tamarack surrounded by a forest of northern hardwoods such as eastern hemlock and red spruce. Flowering shrubs and rare plants like bog sedge, thread rush and creeping snowberry can be found throughout the understory. The area also teems with wildlife typical of the Pocono Plateau, including black bears, eastern coyotes, snowshoe hares, beavers and a variety of breeding birds such as Canada warbler, black-billed cuckoo, scarlet tanager, barred owl, osprey, golden-crowned kinglet and dark-eyed junco.

The Thomas Darling Preserve evokes the area’s glacial past. That includes boreal wetlands with native black spruce, balsam fir and tamarack surrounded by a forest of northern hardwoods such as eastern hemlock and red spruce. Flowering shrubs and rare plants like bog sedge, thread rush and creeping snowberry can be found throughout the understory. The area also teems with wildlife typical of the Pocono Plateau, including black bears, eastern coyotes, snowshoe hares, beavers and a variety of breeding birds such as Canada warbler, black-billed cuckoo, scarlet tanager, barred owl, osprey, golden-crowned kinglet and dark-eyed junco.

D&L Trail Lehigh Tannery Trailhead
There aren’t many finer things in life than a picnic lunch ride down the Lehigh Gorge on a sunny day in the middle of the fall. The sky is clear, the river is flowing, the leaves are changing color, and you’ve got a full cooler headed south along the beautiful Lehigh River. Life just doesn’t get any better than this.
