The food is classic French with a creative twist and the waitstaff are very friendly. The prices are reasonable: two courses for under 20 euros. And my favorite: the drinks are served with sparklers!

Go here for classic French crepes and a glass of cider. There's always a big crowd, so try to arrive during off-hours or just peruse the street: there are plenty of excellent neighboring creperies.

Very good French food, ~20 euros for a main dish. Everything about the restaurant is classic French, so service isn't top but the meal is very good and the experience is typically Parisian.

A small, quaint Italian restaurant run by real Italians which makes great pizzas for a good price (9€-16€)- including a duck and foie gras pizza!- and is open late (7/7, noon-2:30pm and 7pm-11:30pm)

This trendy neighborhood restaurant/diner specializes in tartare (typical French, raw seasoned meat/fish dish). My favorite is the shrimp tartare with honey and wasabi. Very local, genuine French.

Absolutely love this place: an open, three-story seating, vintage 1920s decor (restaurant opened in 1921), traditional French cuisine. Main courses ~20€. Open until midnight.

This long, narrow (and sometimes cobblestone) street is full of real Parisian shoppers, boutiques, and cafes. It's not the center-city high-end shopping, but it's posh and not heavily touristed.
