The food is classic French with a creative twist and the waitstaff are very friendly. The prices are reasonable: two courses for under 20 euros. And my favorite: the drinks are served with sparklers!

Go here for classic French crepes and a glass of cider. There's always a big crowd, so try to arrive during off-hours or just peruse the street: there are plenty of excellent neighboring creperies.

This trendy neighborhood restaurant/diner specializes in tartare (typical French, raw seasoned meat/fish dish). My favorite is the shrimp tartare with honey and wasabi. Very local, genuine French.
