My favorite summer spot; music, food, alternative, hip, rough
Cultural hotspot; Het Haveneiland.
This place used to be a big concrete slap of nothing. Until a group of idealists claimed the place and build their own workspaces. You will find a strange bunch of shops, restaurants, hang-outs here. With the city ‘beach’ around the corner.
Great for a sunny day, with of without kids.
People built their own workspaces and restaurants out of shipping containers and units. Wonder around, have a drink or some food. Enjoy the weirdness and happiness of the place.

Blinds Walls project is a really nice thing to do when you have a couple hours to kill, and its dry out.
They have an app that guides you by all the murals in the city, which are a lot! You can also pick a couple on your way elsewhere. A must see in Breda!
