Parks & Nature
The Washington Arboretum is an easy downhill walk from the house and a great spot for a picnic! Be sure to walk all the way through out to Foster Island for the most amazing view of the water (the "cut" between Lake Union and Lake Washington, Husky Stadium, Yachts and tour boats going by). Also don't miss the Japanese Gardens in the Arboretum.

It's the space needle! The views on a clear day are unbelievable, the views on a gray day are utterly Seattle. There are a bar and a restaurant up there -- check it out! Don't listen to the complaints about hype, it's worth the price of admission.
