Cool hangout spot in the summer with sand and drinks, but I would recommend just to walk along the canal from here to Taborstrasse or the other way round. There are many nice outdoor bars where young and hip people hang out in the summer and drink. Often they have live outdoor music events and mini-parties too.

Both parks are really close, both on the 40 or 41 line outwards. Both are excellent for jogging or walking. Pötzleinsdorfer Park is bordering Wiener Wald and you can continue taking long strolls around Vienna.
