Our house is exactly 2 miles walking distance from Alon's. We love to take our dog to Alon's, she stays outside with Mark and I go in and find something different every time. Want to pickup lunch or dinner? Go to the takeout counter and custom order what ever looks good behind the counter. Want bakery goods, cookies, fresh bread or a great iced or hot coffee, order what you want in the bakery. Or go to the refrigerated section and get takeout portions of chicken salad, salad, butter, soft drinks, etc. Want a cheese plate custom made with fruit, honey, etc, ask the cheese person working to make you something special. The wine selection is amazing as well. Parking in front!

We have loved Murphy's for at least 15 years. The service, food, location and setting is top notch, but never snobby or stuffy. The food is delicious, from the Lobster Cobb Salad, to the Springer Mountain Chicken, to the Chicken and Spinach burger served at lunch, and the superb desserts with great coffee. The wine selection and wine shop is charming and easy to navigate. The friendly nature of the staff is comforting-we have never had a bad experience here, always wonderful and feel good times. There may be flashier restaurants in Atlanta, there may be more "modern" restaurants in Atlanta, we always end up back at Murphy's.

The food is delicious, from the Lobster Cobb Salad, to the Springer Mountain Chicken, to the Chicken and Spinach burger served at lunch, and the superb desserts with great coffee. The wine selection and wine shop is charming and easy to navigate. The friendly nature of the staff is comforting-we have never had a bad experience here, always wonderful and feel good times. There may be flashier restaurants in Atlanta, there may be more "modern" restaurants in Atlanta, we always end up back at Murphy's.
We have lived in Atlanta for a very long time, and there's one thing we know for sure: many of the "top restaurants" are all atmosphere with mediocre food. Aria is beautiful and the food is top notch. Make a reservation and be ready to be wowed!

This place is really close to our house and we adore it. The fried chicken tacos and slaw are delicious, but just about anything on the menu is great. The prices cannot be beat, be aware, the lines get long at times, well worth the wait, call in your order and pickup to save time.

The atmosphere at the General Muir is beautiful, white subway tile and clean modern tables. We love the deviled eggs with pickled vegetables for a starter, the veggies (green beans, onions, cauliflower) were sweetly pickled and very tasty.
The Reuben sandwich is piled high and delicious. and the trout with vegetables is superb. The trout was cooked just perfectly, crispy skin, tender and juicy, not a bit overcooked. The vegetable mix was corn, black eyed peas, and okra, very understated at first, then better with every bite.
