Great local coffee shop, and in walking distance. They make their own cardamom syrup, it's great! They have small food like pastries, and small sandwiches and burritos.

You can walk off the boat and into downtown Bainbridge which is really small but lots of great restaurants and shops. If you like biking, you can bike across the on the boat and ride around the island, a very popular thing to do.

Super awesome park on South Lake Union with great views of Seattle. It is the site of the former Seattle Gas Light Company featuring very cool, old, industrial structures. A must see, and great for tossing a frisbee or just hanging out.
