I love the atmosphere at Craft Work and the long communal tables they have. The food is excellent and you never know when Jack White might walk in for a drink. It's a great spot to have a nice dinner and its walking distance in the Historic West Village.

Pure and simple; Marble Bar is a gem. Music varies around the clock but big or small the parties are great. Its popular with the locals so be prepared to meet some real Detroiters when you come.

One of the most beautiful museums in the United States with an amazing collection. Highly recommended for the creative. Friday nights they offer live music, free performances and activities with the price of your admission. Oakland and Wayne county residents get in for free.

One of the most impressive theaters in the world, in my opinion. The acts are even more impressive. Shows start at $50 and it's worth the money every single time.

The most beautiful and iconic building in downtown Detroit. A must see. They also offer a free tour of the building with spectacular views twice a day for free. It's awesome just to walk around the building. The Ren Cen is filled with the newest GM cars on full display, original Detroit art, coffee shops, restaurants and even a food court.

Belle Isle is to Detroit as Central Park is to New York. The island is home to many interesting spots like the Belle Aquarium and Conservatory, and the Dossin Great Lakes Museum amongst many others. A drive around the island will take you to picnic areas with gorgeous views of Detroit's skyline, as well as a views of our sister city in Canada; Windsor. For some great pictures visit The James Scott Memorial Fountain. Belle Isle is great if you want to take a run or hike around, play basketball or go fishing. It's great for everyone and it's even a good spot to lay on the beach and get a tan. Detroit Loves Belle Isle Park.
