Best Indian takeaway in the area. Will cook to order and you can watch them prepare it. No seating but quick and good food.

The lobster linguine is pretty good, walk it off with miles of available beach walking 1 minute away!

Sightseeing
Catch the ferry over to Hengistbury Head, on the far side there's a land train if you don't fancy the walk. Both are cash only.
Even if you just cross for the golden beaches behind the beach huts on the spit it's worth the fee. Dogs welcomed on the ferry!

Historical tours if you are so inclined. It's free to walk around the grounds and leads to many walks along the coast. A bit quieter than Avon Beach but some fairly steep steps if you do want to get to the beach.

If you're going to swim, head further east past the lifeguard hut for the safest waters.
