Village Market has recently been expanded with many more shops, restaurants and bowling alley. It also has a gym and supermarkets.
Another new large shopping mall, it has several shops and lots of restaurants. It also has a large indoor and outdoor childrens area with rides and games. It quite often does live music in the evenings.
Two Rivers has a large Carrefour supermarket where you can get nearly anything you need, from electronics to food items.

Parks & Nature
A large wooded forest area with large trails. There is also a waterfall which makes a good destination for the above.
Good for hiking, biking with various well kept trails. There are football pitches, tennis courts and other spaces. Also a very nice restaurant called River Cafe with views to the forest. Please note that entrance to Karura forest is around 800Ksh for foreigners.

Currently $50 per person per day to visit. Vehicle required, most tracks are accessible by normal cars but a 4x4 is recommended on wet days.

Off Magadi Road,the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage has daily feeding for orphaned young elephants at around 11am, you can get quite close to the elephants, great for families.
