Take a little walk around this charming tiny little town, fab shops and tea room and seriously vintage pubs. The traditional toy shop and Model House is a must! There is an old church & viewpoint too.

Take a walk through Llanwonno forestry, take in some valley views at Tylorstown tip and stop for a pint in front of an open fire the Brynffynon Hotel. Ask them who Guto Nyth Bran is....

Lovely gastro pub in nearby Pontypridd - also a microbrewery, restaurant and deli. They often have entertainment and a taxi home after all the fabulous craft beers is less than £10!

Pontypridd isn't the prettiest of towns, but even Jamie Oliver's been here to try the famous Welsh cakes in the market. This tea room has not changed since the 50s/60s, have a cuppa & cake here! Yum!

Great little spot for kids to see the many different animals - take a picnic. Geese, horses, goats, pigs...and Prairie Dogs to feed! Weather permitting, you could spend a few hours here.
