We love this place at the Des Moines’s marina. Go in the morning for a cuppa coffee and a walk-through a beautiful park on the beach. Or head down for happy hour and get beer and wine and look out at the views and the sunset.
You do have to pay for parking although it’s validated if you purchase some thing at the quarterdeck. Make sure you have your ticket with you. If not and you just go to the park for it walk parking is only two dollars.

You get to ride the ferry and it drops you right down to the Seattle waterfront. Enjoy the waterfront and head up to Pike Place market
