Our favorite restaurant in Esposende! The catch of the day is on display, try to get a grilled "robalho" fish. The meat is excellent, too. We strongly recommend the "miminhos". Usually 1/2 portion is sufficient. Staff speaks English.

Located within the golf club but also open for non-members. Very professional staff, great creative food. Not cheap but good value for money and very nice views on the river Cávado, Consider a reservation (or come early).

One of our favorite beaches, a bit different from the ones closer to the house. Afife a few miles up North is also very nice and a bit more popular.

Nice little city. Most tourists come here for the big market on Thursday. 30% of the market is interesting, the rest in China stuff and neon underwear. You might want to come on another day of the week and just walk around, eat, drink and shop.
