Martin's is one of the iconic places in the Nashville BBQ scene. Two floors - go in street level off 4th Ave and order and they bring your food to you. We prefer to eat upstairs where they also have ping-pong, darts and live music on weekend evenings. Tip - there's a back entrance into the 2nd level off of Almond St where you can just go sit at the bar and order and skip the line at the 4th Ave entrance.

We prefer to eat upstairs where they also have ping-pong, darts and live music on weekend evenings. Tip - there's a back entrance into the 2nd level off of Almond St where you can just go sit at the bar and order and skip the line at the 4th Ave entrance.

But it's so true! Cute neighborhood bordering the Vanderbilt and Belmont U campuses with little shops and restaurants. There will be a long line unless you get there early! Inside is open air when weather permits. Lots of seating and a stage with live Bluegrass music. Two full bars, delicious taco & appetizer station. There's also a huge gift shop with cool souvenirs. This has become one of our favorite places and is so close that it's almost too convenient.
TIP: Be sure to do a moonshine tasting for only $5 and then you'll get a $5 coupon to use in the gift shop.

Start at Broadway & 1st Ave and make the rounds of the many bars, rooftops, live music venues that are BROADWAY! Oh and buy some boots while you're there. You'll see what I mean when you get there.

If by "Nature" you mean bars & restaurants with rooftop or open-air seating, there is lots of that all over town! But seriously if you are craving nature or a nice walk, there are a number of nice parks in Nashville. Radnor has a paved hiking trail and is a nice morning walk!
