Zwei Hasen is something of a Mannheim institution. It's got a very laid back atmosphere and a shabby chic interior. It also has the best thin-crust stone oven pizzas in town. And it's cheap as chips

This place is slightly scruffy looking with ever-changing "interesting" art on the walls. It's where elderly rockers rub shoulders with students and bohos. The beer is cheap & they do good brunches.

Mannheim's modern art museum. But to be fair, if art's your bag, you're probably better off checking out the museums and galleries in Stuttgart or Frankfurt. This place ain't bad though.

Wicked venue which offers a range of musical styles - but it's their Saturday night indie rock disco that I love them most for.
