Diemersdal wines are the perfect expression of the distinct terroir of the Durbanville Wine Valley, one of the oldest wine regions in the Cape. I cycle past here often and I must stop for a visit.

The Cape Epic Mountain Bike Race starts here every year. And I can enjoy the many biking trails here, as well as fine dining. The wines we like best are the Pinotage and Shiraz.

This entire area is amazing. I enjoy studying the Art Deco buildings. We just don't appreciate the same detail these days.

From Wellington take the R301 over the pass and then return through the Slueng River Valley and over du Toit's Kloof Pass. Lot's of places to stop along the way. It's my favourite drive.

From the farm, this pleasant drive takes less than an hour. Lots of high end shops and restaurants.....and don't forget the Boutique Chocolate Shop!

We sailed into the the Water Front one morning on my friends yacht to pick up my son. The Water Front looks much different from that aspect. Try it! Lots to do here
