Beautiful, relaxing place to visit. Amazing views of the river Medway, especially being a really sunny day helped too I'm sure, but this is just the perfect location. Staff were friendly and helpful too.

This is possibly one of the best restaurants in Maidstone. Had the Sunday roast last week which was to die for. Service was good and has a plethora of exotic and tasteful cocktails. Brilliant decor that creates an atmosphere and ambiance for intimacy & romance.

Typical English pub with lots of character. Food is good and very reasonably priced, the staff and landlords are always very friendly and welcoming. Lovely beer garden, additionally also live music and comedy club on occasions. Highly recommended. 5 mins walk from my property.

Parks & Nature
Just across the street from my property (we actually overlook it). Great for taking in the fresh air, getting away from it all and being at one with Nature. Excellent for morning meditation, yoga or exercise. It is partially situated on a hill so you get a good view too.

Very well looked after. Excellent for an afternoon picnic and walk. Good facilities for children. Nice sized play area with equipment and a cafe and toilets in close proximity. Huge lake to take a stroll around with paddle boats for hire. Overall a very pleasant experience

A really great local museum. A real variety of good random museum stuff. Awesome fun for children and adults of all ages. With regular events throughout the year so plenty of reasons to go back. Can't knock something free fun and educational to do with the kids. Excellent facilities throughout from the dedicated buggy park to well maintained modern toilets, also a well stocked reasonably priced gift shop. Can't recommend this community attraction highly enough.

Saint Faith's StreetA really great local museum. A real variety of good random museum stuff. Awesome fun for children and adults of all ages. With regular events throughout the year so plenty of reasons to go back. Can't knock something free fun and educational to do with the kids. Excellent facilities throughout from the dedicated buggy park to well maintained modern toilets, also a well stocked reasonably priced gift shop. Can't recommend this community attraction highly enough.
Sightseeing
Lovely place, very friendly and knowledgeable staff around the castle, and beautiful grounds. Every time i visit i make new discoveries. I attended an open air classic concert yesterday it was absolutely phenomenal, tickets were well priced and the atmosphere was fantastic. Everyone made the effort to bring a lovely picnic and enjoyed the sun and prosecco! The castles pay once visit all year makes this an affordable day out for families. There are other facilities available such as falconry, go ape & Segway tour. A beautiful place with some lovely birds and great

Awesome place, a real gem. You can easily spend a whole day here between looking at the animals, the model village, the tractor rides, petting zoo, playground, etc. Very good value for money. They even have an indoor play area for the kids if the weather is not up to scratch. Very clean and tidy and animals well looked after. Recommended
