There are plenty of BBQ resturants in Memphis but my favorite for a barbecue sandwich is Central BBQ. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich (you have to get it with slaw).

When I am in the mood for barbecue ribs I go The Bar-B-Q Shop. The ribs are tender and moist and fall off the bone. I like dry rub and barbecue sauce on the side. They come in regular or spicy hot.

It truely is world-famous! When my son comes in from the west coast he has to eat at least one time at Gus's.The chicken is crispy, spicy and juicy, better than any homemade I've had. They also offer take out .

Located on Mudd Island at the River Inn, Paulette’s features an inventive menu of French and Hungarian dishes along with regional eats. Take the elevator up from Paulette’s to the Terrace for a beautiful view of the Mississippi while enjoying cocktails and appetizers. It is a very classy atmosphere and delicious food.

A wonderful place to spend the day outdoors. Shelby Farms is about a 15 minute drive from Midtown Memphis. 4500 acres of green space and 10.65 miles of urban trails. It is a community treasure, unrivaled in size and potential anywhere else in the United States. Shelby farms offers biking, boating, zip lines and tree to treetop adventures along with a water park for children in summer months and the Starry Nights drive through during the Holidays. That’s just some of the fun you’ll find there.
