One of the most original streets of Kazimierz is one that bears the name of St. Lawrence (the patron of a church that used to stand there in the Middle Ages). Between the 19th and 20th centuries, the street saw an erection of some imposing constructions in the historicist style. First, a tramway depot was built in 1882, followed by its extension in 1913. In the years 1904-1905, the city power plant was raised on the neighbouring lot.
Along with the city gas plant built in 1857 at 16 Gazowa Street near-by, the area constituted the most industrialised region of the city. The Kraków Industrial Heritage Route, one of the most important and attractive tourist trails in Poland, runs through Kazim

Beautiful landscape to Wawel Castle. One of the best atmosphere in the city. Good food and a big collections of drinks. Hipster and comfortable place. Good music too :) Definitely one must-go place!!! It is awesome to sit by the Vistula river, drink coffee, eat breakfast and watch this beautiful view of Cracow's heart. Love summer at this place. Great pizza by the way :-

The programme of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Krakow MOCAK, which has been active since 1st February 2010, encompasses presentation of the latest international art, education as well as research and publication projects. MOCAK’s two most important aims are presenting the art of the two last decades in the context of the post-war avant-garde and conceptual art as well as clarifying the rationale of creating art by highlighting its cognitive and ethical value and its relationship with everyday reality.
All the projects will be undertaken by the Museum with diverse audiences in mind. The publications produced will provide information bringing closer the origin and significance of the work

Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory (Polish: Fabryka Emalia Oskara Schindlera), a former metal item factory in Kraków, is now host to two museums: the Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, on the former workshops, and a branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Kraków, situated at ul. Lipowa 4 (4 Lipowa street) in the district of Zabłocie (pl), in the administrative building of the former enamel factory known as Oskar Schindler's Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik (DEF).[1] Operating here before DEF was the first Malopolska factory of enamelware and metal products limited liability company, instituted in March 1937.

The main purpose of the centre has been to preserve his ideas "not in a librarian system, but in the mind and imagination of generations to come".
In accordance with the Master's testament, this task is the basic and most important purpose currently realised by Cricoteka. The unique collection of Kantor's works is the
