If you love vegan food - here is a great place. They have an amazing variety of interesting healthy food. The atmosphere is really comfortable and the prices are inexpensive. It's about a 10 minute car ride!

Swingers is a diner with edge. The tiled walls are fashioned after Evil Knievel's outfit and the large menu is decorated with 70's memorabilia. There is always an assortment or rock and punk playing in the background. What I love most is the assortment of amazing food with healthy alternatives and allergy sensitivities. There is something for anyone, from shakes to beer. Love that they are open until 4am!

This is one of the best juice places I have ever been to. It is not cheap but neither is the quality. They make awesome smoothies and have super healthy snacks as well.

This brewery is a lot of fun and has many activities as well as games, food trucks and local artists' work. Kids and pets are allowed until 8pm too. This place is in the downtown LA arts district and the few blocks around the place are really great.

The Viper Room is the only touristy place that I go to because the sound system is great and it's a cool bar with great live music on what's left of the Sunset Strip.
