Mezza Volta Cocktail Bar in the town of Vathi is definetely one of the places to go and have a drink if you want to go out with your soul mate or your friends. Great location, atmosphere and music. There are a few more other nice Bars and clubs such as Escape Music Club if you keep walking up this street.

Parks & Nature
If you like to walk in general we recommend the great walk to Seitani beaches. Just after Potami beach in the town of Karlovasi take the path that leads to the National Park ( Natura ) of Seitani. Only after 20 minutes you will find yourselves in the small beach of Seitani where the water is said to be healing. Throughout the walk you will be able to see the great sandy beach of Seitani which is approximately an hour walk. You will only understand how beautiful it is only when you make it there. Great environment for families with kids, couples and groups of friends.

The Ireon Beach area hosts a 3 day festival every year ( 6th - 9th of August ) with great artists from Greece and abroad. Tickets are always available even during the festival.

The back streets of Vathi town offer a great deal of small and big shops where you can find everything you might need. Clothes and shoes, souvenirs, nice bakeries, coffee shops etc.

Getting Around
Buses come and go all day from and to Kokkari. The main bus stop is in the taxi area by the church of Saint Nicholas. Either you want to head to the East or the West side of the island you can find all the available routes on the board. If however, you wish to do the round of the island we would recommend you rent a car or a bike.

The great tunnel of the Efpalinos is definetely an interesting place to visit. This tunnel is a landmark of Engineering and Mathematical skills in times where no calculating machines existed. It was made to transport water from one side of the island to the other.
