One of my favourites, just opposite the Hüftgold! Nice for breakfast, food or café, fair prices, newspapers, with a nice terrace. All ages and beliefs meet here. It's the heart of Flingern!

Wednesday 7 pm, guests start playing table tennis in the much too small café. Nice to sit out on a bench in a summer evening. Looks like nothing and is said to be interesting for the people there.

Nice restaurant just next to the apartment. Greek food (meat, fish, squids, salads), fair prices. Just the salad dressing is not enjoyable, better ask for oil and vinegar.

I really like this simple place! A former butcher. You come and choose one of the two or three daily lunches and sit down on a stool. I don't die for chocolate, but this chocolate cake is a must.

Nice café and restaurant with terrace, in a former clinic. Inside, you can see the pictures of the babies who once were born there. Besides of them, there is no clinic atmosphere left at all.
