I love the sushi here! Known for the "Highlander Roll" and located just outside the entrance to Chinatown. If you love tempura rolls and rolls to indulge in.......Ask for the "Jimmy special rolls". There are two, and the waitresses will let you know the ingredients. Jimmy is one of the owners and has to be working in order to get these rolls :-) * A little secret ** shizensushi.ca $

Typically, we will get there early, put our names down and then head to Veneto Tapa Lounge for a cocktail. Their "steak and fancy frites' are a favourite. However, anything I have ever ordered has been above my expectations. I have always left saying "that was the best meal I have ever had" $$$

They have great food (dinner and snacks however, a small menu) and amazing cocktails. The owner is a known Mixologist and has his own bar-tending school. A favourite of mine. $$

Anyone visiting Victoria must walk the breakwater. The ocean air and view will take your breathe away. I highly recommend going during sunset.
