If you feel like eating great, inexpensive Chinese food, you need to visit the Chinatown. I recommend the Lan Zhou Noodle Shop, my favorite Chinese restaurant in Montreal.

This deli restaurant is a must then you visit Montreal. It's the famous Montreal smoked meat. Be sure to ask for the medium fat smoked meat otherwise you'll get the lean meat, which is a bit less flavourful but still great. and don't forget to ask for a pickle.

Very safe, diverse demographic and bilingual. There are many fast food restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment and few very nice restaurants. It's a vibrant neighborhood with lots of university students due to the proximity to the University of Montreal. there are 3 major hospitals within 5 min walk in 3 different directions. There are two metro stations within 5 minutes walking distance to two different lines. This part of town is literally on the Mont Royal mountain, 10 minutes walk away from the Saint Joseph's Oratory
