This is an absolutely stunning spot in Jamestown, about 15 minutes from my house and there's no fee. There's a small Cove where you can swim, and an absolutely beautiful elevated Cliff where you can watch ships and see Newport from the shore of Jamestown. Great for a picnic

Beautiful little zoo that has a lot of special events. The exhibit Asian lanterns is a stunning night time exhibit, and the zoo also has the jack-o-lantern spectacular around Halloween, a walk-through exhibit of thousands of carved pumpkins that is spectacular! at Christmas there's a special light show as well where you can walk through the zoo and enjoy the lights. This is a zoo that you can see comfortably in less than a full day, if you like but certainly can take a day if you want to see it fully.
