About forty km from Trapani, San Vito Lo Capo is entirely embraced by the sea and the sun, a feature that makes it one of the most popular destinations in all of Sicily. The city lives thanks to tourism but never abandoned is both agriculture and fishing. A trip to this Trapani province also offers various tastings. Gastronomy has so much to tell and in addition to the many variations of fish and fish it is worth trying the couscous or aubergines, often prepared in a cutlet variant. To the west of San Vito Lo Capo we find the Gulf of Macari and to the east the Gulf of Castellammare which contains the Riserva dello Zingaro, a nature reserve protected by the Region of Sicily. The latter is one of San Vito Lo Capo's favorite excursions to admire its wonderful Mediterranean flora and fauna free from any constraint.
