Where to drink & eat
East of Södermalm is dear to my heart and we also have some of the best places that Stockholm has to offer here. Not only do we have great food and drinks, but great people too. And parks, and viewpoints. Enjoy!
Do you like ramen? I do. And I’ve tried many, many ramen places in this city. The best one is Ai Ramen Sofia. It even beats its sister bar in the city. It’s located on Erstagatan which is really close to here — about 2 mins walk if you’re hungry.

Ai Ramen Sofia

Tacy is a small place located in the basement of the restaurant Symbios. There’s a staircase at the back of the restaurant down to a taco bar. This definitely has as much of a Mexico vibe as you’ll get here in Stockholm. Smells of food, they have great frozen margaritas in plastic cups, and tacos.

Are you a fan of Peru? Aren’t we all. Indio is the greatest restaurant for fish and anything Peru. Great ceviche! Great vibe! Perhaps the only place that actually makes a spicy miso soup in this town. The interior feels a little Japanese, mixed with Peru, so it’s gotta be good. They have good lunch too and outdoor seating! Their outdoor seating is actually very inviting, IMO.

Indio Kitchen
52 Kocksgatan Are you a fan of Peru? Aren’t we all. Indio is the greatest restaurant for fish and anything Peru. Great ceviche! Great vibe! Perhaps the only place that actually makes a spicy miso soup in this town. The interior feels a little Japanese, mixed with Peru, so it’s gotta be good. They have good lunch too and outdoor seating! Their outdoor seating is actually very inviting, IMO.

Next to the restaurant with the same name (Café Nizza) is their bar — a small place with a great wine selection. Perhaps bring a fun game? I have some in the flat. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a casual vibe with a friendly atmosphere, without the highbrow feeling, yet great wines. Magical for friends and couples and dates, and it’s dog friendly.

They change their wine list often so I couldn’t recommend you anything, but if wine is your thing, Vina is your place. There’s seating outdoors, inside, and upstairs. The cozy factor is high!

They also have inside seating on a covered terrace which is great if the rain comes, or you simply just had enough outdoor moments for a while. They serve “mellanrätter” which we apparently love here in Stockholm — it’s not a starter nor a main. Something in between. It’s sharing size but mostly it’s just a “mid-size dish” which is what it’s directly translated to. Anyway, they have plenty of that, plenty of fun people to watch, good music, drinks, ice cream… Hot summer day? You go here.

Also big enough for buggies. There are some other cafés next to it that also have sun, it’s all about your preference of food here. The neighborhood bar, BAR AGRIKULTUR, has the best gin from Stockholms Bränneri.
