Womble Trail, located in the Ouachita National Forest in Mount Ida, Arkansas, is a single track path running more than 37 miles from North Fork Lake to the Ouachita National Recreation Trail. The most convenient trailhead from Hot Springs is located on Hwy 298 just a quarter mile off of Hwy 270, west of Mount Ida, 45 minutes from Hot Springs. The Womble Trail is a U.S. Forest Service trail and is open for use by mountain bikers and hikers. Horses are not allowed.
