pedreguer is a charming mountain village located in the county of Marina Alta. You can visit the Mediterranean garden of l'Albarda, created in 1990, where you will find a wide variety of species from the region.
The path from Adsubia to Pedreguer is very beautiful, you will find many places to have a nice break (keep an eye on the little corners along the road: you can find a nice place near a fresh water spot)
There are also restaurants on the upper part of the village, offering a magnificent view.

pedreguer is a charming mountain village located in the county of Marina Alta. You can visit the Mediterranean garden of l'Albarda, created in 1990, where you will find a wide variety of species from the region.

Alcoy has lived through many Moorish uprisings, hence this well known festival of Moors and Christians since the 16th century. It is a center from which to make many excursions.

History lovers will be pleased to know that Villalonga has a large selection of sights to visit. To make sure you see all the sights, you can follow the heritage tour, which starts in the Arab castle known as Castell dels Moros. The fortress is in Sierra de les Fontanelles, just a kilometre and a half from the municipality.
Next on the tour are Santos Reyes parish church, San Antonio Abad, Santa Bárbara and La Virgen de la Fuente chapels. The latter is the patron saint of the village. The village is also known for its many fountains, including the historic Font de la Reprimala and Font dels dels Setze Xorros.
In addition to heritage sights, Villalonga also offers a spectacular mountain landscape. You can immerse yourself in the stunning scenery by walking a number of different routes, such as Ruta de la Vía Verde, which runs through Sierra de la Safor and La Cuta, before flanking the banks of the river Serpis. Another route will take you to see the ice houses in Sierra de la Safor. In the past, snow was kept in these structures and used to preserve food. And if you’re feeling energetic, you can also climb to the summit of the mountain, Cim de La Safor, the highest peak in the county at 1,013m, which affords incredible views.

Villalonga
History lovers will be pleased to know that Villalonga has a large selection of sights to visit. To make sure you see all the sights, you can follow the heritage tour, which starts in the Arab castle known as Castell dels Moros. To help you find your way around and organise your outings outside the village, here are the various places near the house where you can have a good time.
A very pleasant town 15 km from the house. You will find beautiful beaches (see recommendation "beaches")
A night market takes place every evening from 10pm near the port of Denìa from mid-June. It is very pleasant to walk around after having dinner in one of the many restaurants along the marina.
It's also a great place to party!

It's also a great place to party!
For walking and cycling enthusiasts, this is a wonderful walk.
You can drive through La Marjal, which is known as a beautiful nature reserve
In summer, I recommend you to make this walk at the beginning or at the end of the day

Apart from its beaches, shops and restaurants, oliva is also a very nice little town to visit.
Oliva has preserved the old town from the flourishing medieval period in perfect condition. You can stroll through the old Christian town among its churches, stately homes, old portals and museums. And go up to the old Moorish quarter of the arrabal, which still conserves its typical streets.

Oli Ba Ba is one of the many beach bars (chiringuitos) you will find in Oliva. It is open during the whole summer season from the 20th of June. The staff are lovely.

It is a delicious restaurant by the sea. The large shaded terrace in front of the sea allows you to have a comfortable lunch while keeping an eye on your beach towels!

Gandia beach has the advantage of extending for many kilometres. It is a more urbanised place than the beaches close to home.

In the village
The teleclub is THE bar of the village, located in the central square. The terrace with the view on the mountains is very pleasant. I advise you to have your breakfast there (I recommend the pan con tomate!). Ramona, Sami and Lena run the place and are fantastic people.

The beautiful village swimming pool is open from 15 June, from 11am to 8pm. The adjacent restaurant, run by Ana and Georges, offers delicious tapas and everything you need to refresh yourself.
The house is only a few metres from the pool.
