This passageway consists of seven buildings and six interconnecting courtyards, and links Király utca with Dob utca. It was opened in 1902.
Today, the passageway is mobbed with crowds, crushing into restaurants and bars. At weekends, a flea market sets up, and Gozsdu has its own escape room, its own Christmas market and its own bouncers at each entrance to the passageway.
Gozsdu Passage
This passageway consists of seven buildings and six interconnecting courtyards, and links Király utca with Dob utca. It was opened in 1902.
Today, the passageway is mobbed with crowds, crushing into restaurants and bars. At weekends, a flea market sets up, and Gozsdu has its own escape room, its own Christmas market and its own bouncers at each entrance to the passageway.

Sightseeing
The synagogue was built between 1854 and 1859 in the Moorish Revival style. It is the largest synagogue in Europe. The Dohány Street Synagogue complex consists of the Great Synagogue, the Heroes' Temple, the graveyard, the Memorial and the Jewish Museum. Dohány Street itself, a leafy street in the city center, carries strong Holocaust connotations as it constituted the border of the Budapest Ghetto.

A Baroque city was built, and Castle Hill soon became the district of government. During World War II, Buda was bombed to the ground and had to be rebuilt again.
Today, Castle Hill is recognized as a World Heritage Site, and has many must-see attractions: the Palace, National gallery, Mathias church, old streets (some houses date back to the 14th and 15th centuries) and nice panorama, the famous Ruszwurm patisserie, Buda Castle Labyrinth, Hospital in the Rock etc.
