Solid drinks, good food, relaxing patio, nice people - all the good things for a low key night or a warmer upper for a banger of a night!
The food truck as of late has been The Salt, stands for Sea and Land Tacos. And yes, it’s fantastic. Church Music IPA is delightfully well balanced. The patio is fantastic - string lights, wall murals, greenery, long tables - this is my favorite spot to decompress on a Friday night after a hefty week of work.

Another fantastic patio. Oysters makes it sound pretentious but I promise you, this is an Irish pub and it’s awesome. Yes they serve oysters but as a non meat eater, I just stick with the hummus plate and that’s fine. I have nothing more to say about the food. This spot is about the patio, the easy drinks and the patio. Grab your own table and come hang out.

A bar with board games!! They’ve got all the classics and go-to’s for the highly competitive gamers. We tested out some classics last time we were here—Guess Who didn’t age well….only go for the games and beers. Cocktails were not fantastic and food was also nothing to comment on. Beers & Board games only.

Venture out and have a blast!
Pack a picnic and rent a pedal boat! You can choose from a variety of shapes: swans, dragons, giant green circular for large groups, the big red one…you can also rent stand up paddle boards and some other fun stuff. Just don’t fall in the water. I certainly wouldn’t recommend going in the water. Only look at the water. It’s nice enough for looking and staying on top of the water :)
E-scootering along the pathway is always satisfying as well.

Tempe Town Lake

I haven’t done it myself, but supposedly A mountain smack in the middle of downtown Tempe has great views at sunrise. It’s a straight up walk so get ready for the butt burn. And then get brunch at First Watch near by!
