If you want to get away from the crowds in Canal Park, take a drive down Park Point to the end of the road. Park near Sky Harbor Airport and take the trail through the gate to see the point in its natural state. Great scenery, old-growth forest. Be careful, poison ivy is plentiful on the sandy point. Avoid walking off the trail.
