Many of our guests (and a personal favorite) have enjoyed this scenic gorge hike complete with stone bridges and cascading waterfalls. Usually is cool in the gorge and be prepared for many stone stairs heading up the gorge! Not a loop trail.

Bring hiking shoes and fishing pole
If you want to hike our trails than bring along waterproof hiking shoes to protect your feet from the heavy dew on morning walks. We have sunfish and largemouth bass in our pond so bring your fishing pole along. If you are planning a trail ride with us than pack long pants and closed toed shoes, preferably with a small heel to wear for the ride.

Kids up to 17 years old get into the Glass Museum for free and any admission is good for two consecutive days.

The Saturday Windmill Market is worth the trip!
The Windmill is only open on Saturdays til 4:30pm and is the hub for local produce, amazing food vendors, and any kind of art and craft imaginable.

We are in Amish country
Especially north of us there are a lot of Amish and Mennonite buggies to share the road with. It is acceptable to pass them even over a double line as long as you can see ahead. It is better for the horses to just pass them slowly and get well over than to stay behind them for long stretches.
