Another great hike that is a short drive from here. Turn left at the end of Diamond Notch Rd. on 214, heading towards Hunter. Route 214 ends at Route 23A. Turn right towards Tannersville. Stay on 23A through Tannersville and up and over the mountain. You will see a parking area on your right , the trailhead is a short walk on the road up ahead. The falls (these are the lower falls, there are also upper falls) are up ahead on the left.

If you continue past TOPS for another 10 miles to Palenville there is the wonderful Storey Farms farm stand where you can find a variety of fresh picked vegetables and other local products. They do “pick your own strawberries” in early summer.
